Technologies and optimized production facilities enabling complex and ultra-high precision manufacturing

The wafer processing technologies in front-end processes are essential to the mass production of semiconductor devices, including LSIs and discrete products.
In wafer processing, the performance and quality of semiconductor devices are achieved through numerous micrometer- and nanometer-scale microfabrication and chemical treatment processes.
These processes are very complex, and even slight variations cannot be tolerated.

The ROHM Group has cultivated advanced device and processing technologies over many years. This gives us an advantage in SiC power devices and analog LSIs as well as discrete products, including transistors and diodes.
SiC power devices must stably operate in high temperature and high voltage environments; analog LSIs are necessary to improve the energy and operational efficiency of finished products; and high reliability is required for discrete products. For these devices and products, processing precision and reproducibility in front-end processes are important factors that determine product performance.
