Kyoto International Music Students Festival 2017

We present the 25th Kyoto International Music Students Festival 2017, an annual musical event held each spring in Kyoto. The Festival invites 102 students of premier music schools from 10 countries (21 students from 9 schools in 9 foreign countries and 81 students from 13 schools in Japan) to Kyoto to foster international exchange through music and to develop the skills of the young musicians. The Festival comes to 25 times with 2,802 music students participating (541 from overseas, 2,261 from Japan). By performing at the Festival, these students have used music as a meaning to deepen their understanding each other. Many people enjoy the new musical perspective and performances of wonderful sensitivity of these young musicians from around the world.
